FOURTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON COMMUNITY TRANSLATION (ICCT 4)

1-3 OCTOBER 2026 AT UNIVERSITÉ DE MONCTON (CANADA)

It is our pleasure to launch the call for papers for the Fourth International Conference on Community Translation (ICCT 4), to be held October 1-3, 2026 at Université de Moncton in Canada. The conference is an initiative of the International Community Translation Research Group. It was preceded by three successful editions held at Western Sydney University (2014), RMIT (2019), and University of Warsaw (2023).

We hope the event will give an opportunity to scholars, grassroot organizations, language service providers and community members to reflect together. We encourage discussions about global realities and aim to highlight the unique aspects of local contexts. 

The deadline for submitting a proposal is 31 October, 2025.
